Treadstone Coatings is a family business based in Nanoose Bay, founded by Trevor Dawes and co-founder Cristi in 2021. The people who quote your project are the people who install it.
How we got here
Treadstone started in 2021. During the pandemic, Trevor Dawes began building epoxy fire tables in the garage, and that turned into a floor coatings business: epoxy and polyaspartic floors for garages, basements and shops from Victoria to the north island.
On almost every garage job, someone asked about the driveway. Concrete was the usual answer, and we'd seen too many island driveways crack along the same lines to recommend it with a straight face. Then we found Vuba Stone, a resin-bound system built for wet, freeze-thaw weather like ours. We did the research, trained with Vuba and became certified installers in 2026.
Outdoor resin-bound work is newer for us than floors, and we won't pretend otherwise. What carries over is how we work: careful prep, honest quotes and the same family answering the phone.
Treadstone is Baeumler Approved, insured and covered by WorkSafeBC.
